On Sunday, our U18 boys played the final of the European Championship (Division C). Against Cyprus, Luxembourg lost 60:70 and missed the promotion to Division B.
Cyprus jumped out to an early 20:10 lead after the first quarter. The FLBB team showed great fighting spirit and came close several times during the game. However, it was not enough to complete a comeback and Luxembourg fell short.
Sean Bugeja scored 15 points to lead Luxembourg, Viktor Horvat added 11 points.

After the game, the winner’s ceremony took place. Sean Bugeja took home the MVP trophy of the tournament.
