Coaching staff:
„The team played against a difficult team from Azerbaijan today, who have beaten teams such as Iceland, Denmark and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the course of the tournament. In contrast to the previous day’s game against Bulgaria, the girls executed their game plan very well and with discipline in the first half. At the start of the second half, we lacked concentration at times, which meant that we brought our opponents back into the game unnecessarily and allowed them to close the gap to 5 points in the final quarter.
However, the girls once again showed the right attitude both on the pitch and on the bench and ultimately deserved to win the game.
In the end, our team was rewarded with a very good 11th place out of 21 participants. »
