Win or go home, game 3 between Musel Pikes and Résidence on Friday

It all comes down to one game on Friday-evening in the women’s semi-finals between the Musel Pikes and Résidence. The « best-of-3 »-series is tied at 1:1, both teams were able to win on the road and both games were decided in the final minutes, so we can expect another thrilling game to determine which team will go to the finals!

After facing each other twice over the last days, there are no more surprises, both teams know each other very well. It will come down to which team can execute better in this final game under pressure. The Musel Pikes were under enormous pressure last Wednesday and they were able to deliver and keep their season alive.

It will be interesting to see if Résidence will continue to defend Cathy Schmit with Samantha Logic in order to not allow the JICL MVP race leader ( –> Women’s JICL MVP race presented by LALUX (3rd edition) ) to find her rhythm. It will then be the time for Mikayla Ferenz to take over responsibility when she is guarded by a non-professional player. Under the baskets, Bridget Yoerger and Amanda Cahill meet as always, both players are extremely important to their team’s success. And then other players could become a X-factor … last game, Laure Diederich scored 13 points after not scoring a point in game 1. Résidence did not have points scored by players that come of the bench in game 2, maybe some players will be able to play a bigger role in this game.

69:67 and 64:61, the final results of the two games of the series underline that everythung is possible on Firday-evening. The game will be played at 20:00, you can watch it in the RTL LIVE ARENA –> RTL LIVE ARENA

In the other semi-final-series, T71 leads 1:0 against Amicale after winning game 1 89:64 but the series is currently on hold because of the Covid-19-virus.
