The 4th game day of the National 2 play-offs was played this weekend.
US Heffingen extended the lead on top of the league standings with a 80:77 victory in the top game against Gréngewald Hueschtert. Thomas Quarry scored 34 points to lead the hosts while Jacob Wahsington added 28 points and 14 rebounds. With a 3rd straight loss, Gréngewald falls to the fourth place because AS Zolwer was able to beat Black Star Mersch on Sunday. Zolwer jumps past the « Greens » and takes the second place with a 99:86 home victory. Felix Kloman led Zolwer with 35 points, Christian Parker added 27 points.
The Black Frogs Schieren are also back in a good position after a 76:69 victory against Avanti Mondorf. Khyree Armstead just missed a triple double with 22 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists. Schieren is now tied in 3rd place with Gréngewald.
